Sabbaticals -- Day 4

Posted about 3 weeks later, on 27 March...


Basically, for today, we did some interesting things -- styrofoam planes, parachute, plasticine boat.... It's probably the best day of the whole sabbatical week.

The 1st thing we did was the parachute. My group(TWX, 2 ppl from 2N and me), named ourselves the "Ohh-La-La" group (idea from Leefy). Our parachute was not the best... average, I think.

Next was the styrofoam plane experiment. We were given styrofoam boards to make into planes. Our group came up with a twin fusellage. (we got 2nd, i think)

Lastly we were given plasticine to make boats(or at least sth which look like a boat, but, if i am not wrong, almost everybody made bowls instead... -.-''') For our group, we used TWX's elbow to mould the boats (since it was the *cough* ideal *cough* shape). After that, we had a short quiz to recap what we had learnt.
