Open House 2008

this happened on 3 May 2008 last saturday. and now i shall be telling you about it.

Firstly i shall start from the 24th of April 2008. this is the first day when i am informed that i shall be the i/c for the Logistics Committee, Open House NPCC Display.

then it is proposal writing, refining , editing for almost the whole of the weekend until monday.

now i shall fast forward to the day before the big DAY!

after the training and meeting and all the logistics preparing, i rushed home , bathe, eat dinner, and rush to buy the cue cards , maggi mee, canned food, match sticks(altogether $12.40) then rush home to sleep in prepararion for the next day.

the next day.... i woke up at i dunno 5 sth? then all the usual orning stuff and i reach school at 6:30+am. so early. then draw all the logistics to the display area.

1st problem: - no tables! we "goub" some from one of the classroom (anyway we got return later)

then after everything is there, we arrange them. logistics can help other committes(there are survival, presentation, structures and games committee other than logisitics) if we are free. i helped eugene , the games committee i/c.

then (fastforward again), we had lunch. after when we returne,we try to start a fire(proper fire , in a stove, not arson) and i dunno how i got a little burn myself(+some burnt holes in my track pants. luckily the holes are small and at my ankle area. ) anyway, we did sustain a fire for some time(+i sustain some injuries)

then i shall fast forward again. after we return from lunch, there isn't much people coming to see us(i think they go audi). any way soon enough, we pack up and keep everything, clear np romm and go home .

so sad, i lost my receipts and cannot get reimbursement:(. anyway lets take it as i so kind :)

LESSON LEARNT:
不听老人眼，吃亏在眼前 next time i will listen to my mother and keep the receipts in my wallet ;(
