Earth Day + Kougra Day = Hooray?

Hi! today is Earth Day. ya. so ?

anyway i read an interesting article from yahoo about Earth Day and a somesort of a project of recycling sp-called ' junk'. here: http://sg.news.yahoo.com/afp/20080421/tts-lifestyle-us-internet-environment-co-972e412.html

this is a joined effort of yahoo and Freecycle.org they are planning to let yahoo users form freecycle groups

if you are feeling generous or want to play a part in saving Earth, you can halp by contributing your 'junk'

what they don't accept : your old boyfriend/girlfriend, toilet paper and stapled staple(taken from the article)

however socks , half bottle of leftover black hair dye, a box of chocolates with one eaten or even concrete chunks are all welcome! you will be surprised at how these 'junk' can become useful!

e.g. the socks are wanted by a teacher for making sock puppets! (taken from article) so cute! (but not that i want your sock lll-.-lll)

ways to save electricity(i copied from the animation from yahoo SG which they put on their yahoo logo on Earth Day):
1.use less hot water
2.when device is fully charged unplug it
3.use compact flourescent light bulbs
4.turn off tv when not in use

i just send my kougra for training(4hrs , i might not be able to send it for a 2nd training. when it is finished it will be around midnight time here and tmr i will have sch, end at around 4 so when i go home, the free training might be over!!! so anna they shld spread it over one wholoe week!!)i might want to put a picture of a kougra here next time since i cannot find a nice picture now.
